John and Lorinda Donaldson came to Ethiopia in August, 2007, to adopt a child from CHSFS-Ethiopia for the second time. They have this to say about the CHSFS-Ethiopia program.

"Children’s Home helps you learn about Ethiopia. While our goal is to come and get our child, we have the chance to meet people from Ethiopia, there is also the chance to learn about the culture. There is a great effort that goes into that in terms of whether it’s just arranging tours; or even ride around the care center and the offices to go and see what the history is so that you come away knowing a lot more about where your child was born and the heritage and the culture which makes it a much richer experience which allows you to share with your child through out the rest of their life and our hope is we bring back our Ethiopian children to Ethiopia some day so that they can see this. But it allows us to share what we learned about where they grew up and their homeland as they’re growing up which is wonderful. I think that’s very unique for any agency." John Donaldson
